I figured that if I was going to get comfortable with my new toy, err DSLR, that I bought for use [mainly] with the Echo, the Lefferts Manor newsletter I edit, I should go out and use it for the kind of photographs I make with my 'real" [i.e. medium format film] cameras--trees, peeling paint, all that exciting stuff! I took my Olympus e410 for a walk in Prospect Park on Monday.
The thing produced fairly good results, especially considering that I was VERY lazy and didn't bring my tripod. There just might even be something to be said for using color. The Olympus won't replace my Rolleiflex, but I may be using it more than I expected

1st - I love how the group is posting photos!!!
2nd - NICE BOB! I'm as afraid for saying that as you are to go to digital. Keep shooting film... TOO!

Nice balance of light and color Bob. I see your mark all over these photos! My favorite is the first one and the fact that you got the woman in the picture makes the composition solid!
Don't worry G. Film (and B&W) will remain my first love.
Thanks Ocean.
